To increase reliability and extend the system’s service life, we recommend installing a sediment pre-filter (M6 PP, Part No. 70200251) at the water inlet.
The sediment pre-filter is installed on the cold water inlet before the unit and traps mechanical impurities such as sand, rust, and sediment before they enter the system.
Recommended replacement interval: every 3–6 months (depending on the quality of the tap water).
Using a sediment prefilter:
- extends the appliance’s service life;
- protects the main filters from premature wear and clogging;
- extends the service life of the PAC pre-filter to up to 12 months.
