Reverse osmosis membrane (RO) for the BEM Orion water filter

Central filter element of the system for the deep treatment of tap water and to ensure consistently high drinking water quality.

Functions and benefits:

Significantly reduces the content of dissolved substances (TDS)
Reduces the concentration of heavy metals (including lead)

Filtration technology:
The filter is based on reverse osmosis technology:
Water is forced under pressure through a semi-permeable membrane, effectively separating purified water from dissolved substances and impurities.

Performance and service life:

Recommended replacement: every 12-24 months
Under optimum operating conditions: up to 36 months

! The actual service life depends on the quality of the tap water, the mineral content, the pressure and the intensity of use.
With an average degree of mineralization of the tap water (approx. 250-300 ppm), it is recommended to adhere to the usual replacement intervals.

Instructions for use:
Before first use, the filter should be rinsed according to the instructions.
Timely replacement is necessary to ensure filter performance and constant water quality.

Filter change:
The filter can be changed without tools and requires no special expertise.

Recommended:

Shut off the water supply
Depressurize the system
Disconnect the appliance from the power supply
Replace the filter

After installation, the system should be flushed until the water quality has stabilized.

Recommendations for filter replacement according to TDS value:

The specified lifetimes are guide values and are based on average water consumption (approx. 10-20 liters per day) and the quality of the source water. With an increased TDS value and a higher degree of contamination, the service life of the filters can be shortened even with a relatively low usage volume.

Important notes:

The filter must not be removed during operation.
Failure to observe the recommendations may result in reduced filter performance or malfunctions.
Damage caused by improper use or failure to observe the operating conditions may be excluded from the warranty.
